What does a Flex day feel like?
ChromeOS Flex installs onto many older PCs and Macs and turns them into something like a Chromebook: the browser is the desk, online apps do the work, and traditional installers stay out of the way.
It tends to boot fast, patch itself quietly and ask almost nothing of you — low-maintenance speed for web-first households.
I recommend it when the person already lives online and wants the machine to feel fast and simple — fashion has nothing to do with it.

If you need installed software or some things working offline, Zorin OS may suit you better. It is still light, but it does a little more on the computer itself rather than in the browser.
